What Is DISCIPLESHIP SCHOOL?Discipleship School is an exciting and challenging part-time Bible college programme designed to train and equip men and women as disciples of Christ. The duration of the course is 12 months (2 semesters), and classes are held once a month on a Saturday, from 9:00 am till 2:00 pm. An additional third semester is available for students who want to study further. Typically DS training sessions begin with worship and devotions, and are followed by classes and time for interaction and discussion. Additionally, students are provided with self-study modules that include mp3 audio Bible Studies, prescribed reading and take-home tests. DISCIPLESHIP SCHOOL Curriculum
Classes covered include: Discipleship - Christology - Biblical Theology - Evangelism - Servanthood - Worship - Financial Stewardship - Children's Ministry - Counseling - End Times - How to Study the Bible - Principles of Preaching - Defending The Faith - Cults - Prophecy - Prayer - Christian Living. What Will It CostThe tuition fee for the 2010/2011 Discipleship School programme is R275 per student, payable at registration. This amount covers the cost of all the notes, books and study materials you will need for the duration of the course. HUSBANDS & WIVES: The tuition fee for husbands and wives is R375/couple. SCHOLARSHIPS: Financial assistance is available in the form of scholarships for those who cannot afford to pay the tuition fee. If you require a scholarship, please request an application form and submit it together with your Discipleship School application. When Do Classes For Commence?The next Discipleship School semester starts in August 2010. How Do I Register?If you would like to sign up for Discipleship School, you can do so by completing the registration form that you can collect from the Discipleship School sign-up table at our Sunday-morning services, or you can contact Johann (johann@calvarychapel.co.za) for more information. The curriculum is made up of studies through entire books of the Bible, prescribed reading as well as many essential and foundational topical classes aimed at growing students in their personal walk with the Lord, equipping them to serve the Lord and His church, and reach out the the lost world around them.
